Got to the park and at 10 am they told us that the original trail was full and we could do it via an alternate route. Taking the sunset trail added two miles but was considered moderate.
we started via Sunset vista and this trail would meet the Hunter trail. I swore the entire two miles we were so post to meet Henry.
these Arizona trails are Mighty Mouse hikes. Short but killer. Take gloves for the cables. Plenty of water and snacks.
just when you think you’re there you are not. The .7 miles felt like an eternity.
