Lovely good ol Humber!

How I missed you so much!

Been months of snow and ice and so much melty freezy stuff!

Which made hiking really sketchy and stuff.

San Jac was my very very first…

Get you head out of the gutter…not THAT kind of stuff!!!

Did it on a fluke summer 2017 with friends from the gym

Helping the one who was training for Whitney

Totally joined on a whim!

No clue what we were thinking…

It was a struggle for sure and yes we were drinking!!!!!…

…all 3L of our water!!!!

It was a crazy hike

But fun though hard and did the best we could!

It was the very first time any of us had peed in the woods (shhh…don't tell!!!  there was nowhere else to go!)!

A hike to remember and did the rest of the 6 with their own adventure stories!

That day opened up my horizons…and to this day Jac I hold most dear!

Muir had it right

So, so sublime in the light!

And to continue the legacy playing 6 Pack tour guide this time…

With my good friend Andrea!

Who had yet to sunmit San J and even hike the rest!

She was a trooper on San J and the best!

So proud of her!

And we ran into my friend Jon-Jon (sanjacjon.com) too!  A special treat!

Next on the list is big San G!

We're doing this the backside way!  South Fork up Dry down Dollar 21ish gorgeous miles!

Baden-Powell next on the list and its 40 switchbacks.  No big.  The trail from Humber has 42.  One day I counted them all…I was bored, so true!

Baldy and Cuyu wait for the fall

As way too hot in August for those and all.

Doing diff approaches than listed to change it up  as we're not like the others, and I've done every trail on all of the mountains.

Humber to San Jac, South Fork Dry Lake to San G to Dollar Lake, Baden-Powell the 40 switchback only way.  Humber up had 42 so we'll be ok.

Likely in fall next Baldy – thinking from the Village – and Cucu somewhere in there.  Depends on schedules and bugs and weather being fair.

Rounding them out or maybe before will be lovely San B.  Going up through poor burned Forsee.  Getting Andrea up on the Bernardino Divide and tagging East San B for pretty views.  And seeing San J and San G in the rearview!

The orig 6 Pack I think is the best!  Though subbing B-P for Wilson as when I did Wilson poison ivy was a huge pest!

Thanks for creating this challenge – so fun!

And five more fun hikes to go after this first one!
