Snow:

Trail snow-covered at times – Gear and expertise recommended

Day after a big storm passed through. Beautiful day; bright, clear, and cold. Patches of old snow and some ice along the way with a little new snow at the peak. Let us know if our mini snowman, uh, person is still there (south-east patch of snow at the peak). Would have been easier with micro-spikes, but not necessary because we took out time and had poles. The ice clad trees and bushes at the peak were amazing! This was the best hike yet. Don't let the false peaks discourage you, you will get to the right one eventually. The best place to go to eat strawberries (although the Himalayan salt is just fine closer to sea-level :0)
