We started just before 7 a.m. on Saturday and the parking lot was already packed. Found a few spots just up the road. It was the perfect temperature that day, mid 70°s and sunny.
While there were many hikers up until Icehouse saddle, once we took the turn to Ontario Peak, there were far fewer people on the trail.
It was a pleasant hike with gradual incline, plenty of shade and a beautiful view from the summit. We got up there just before noon, had a snack, rested, took pics and then made our way back down.
We thoroughly enjoyed this hike!
