This was the first time i hiked on snow/ice. It was colder than i expected at the top but very fun! My friend slipped multiple times but i had trekking poles so i was fine.

Nicely done! Planning on summitting this peak this Thursday. Did you use crampons, or just trekking poles?
Just trekking poles. Crampons would be useful on the way back down because it’s easier to slip when descending. Just be careful. Have fun!
Did you guys bring crampons or microspikes? What kind of gear would you recommend?
