Trail was mostly shaded. Only last 1/3 was sun exposed because of our start time of 8am. Long, challenging, peaceful & pretty hike. Had clear views of Mt Baldy for the duration of hike. Admitted with my ride or die friend, Marita. First time up this mountain for this peak. Will return.
