Yes, few log-hopping but no problem at all. Best view started on & beyond the Manzanita plants section. Another fave trail of mine (the other is Baden-Powell). I got bit in the finger by a black fly. We thought it was a bee. It felt like a very small piece of broken glass poked y finger. It did hurt a lot & got scared a bit…was closely monitoring for swelling or any allergic reaction! At the end of the night, it seems the pain was slowly going away & no swelling was noted (thank goodness!). Warm to hot weather today but the intermittent breeze was delightful. Overall, a pleasant day to hike.
