Great day to hike. Started real early to beat the heat. I saw a grand total of “nobody” on way up. Left at 6am. This is the 2nd of two alternate hikes I have finished and only have Gorgonio left to do for the 6 Pack. Lots of water still running in the stream. Great views of inland empire from the summit. Love that someone put a bottle opener on the tree at summit but doesn't anyone carry bottles? 
I actually enjoy this hike more than Cucamonga but everyone has their preferences. Did see a rattle snake in the rocky section before the switchbacks going up to the saddle.
