For August it was surprisingly cool and breezy and this trail provides shade for the majority of it. The insects were minimal and wild flowers were in bloom. The trail is absolutely breathtaking. It’s views all around are beautiful. It is rated hard but I would rate it as moderate to hard. I do hike every week though so I am used to higher elevations. All in all, the views were spectacular and I would do it again.
