The original plan this Friday was to hike Cucamonga Peak. While on our way to the saddle we ran into a few hikers who had turned back while on their way to Cucamonga due to a swarm of bees in one of the bushes. We opted to not chance competing with a swarm of bees and pivoted onto Ontario Peak. It turned out to be a good choice as we had a nice hike without any unwanted bee encounters.
