Perfect weather, nice and cool. A bit crowded. We started at 8 which was a popular start time. Would suggest starting earlier or later because the trail is dusty. Encountered my first hiking cat, named Tiny. The cat did pass me on the way up but I pass the cat on the way back down. Very gorgeous views.
