Snow:

Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

We arrived at the parking lot at 6:30 a.m. and there were very few cars there. It was almost full by the time we came down at 11:30. The weather was gorgeous! A little breezy at the top, but a welcomed breeze. A little warm on the way down, but still a nice breeze. The trails were in really good condition, but near the summit at around mile 3.5 – 3.7 there were multiple trails due to people cutting the trail. I'm not sure if they cut the trail because they were in a hurry, or if maybe the trail was cut because there was snow and it got confusing. Either way, we found our way back onto the main trail.

This is by far one of my very favorite trails. It's just so beautiful.

Forewarning, we did see a rattlesnake right along the side of the trail around mile 2. He just went along his merry way, did not coil up. But always makes your heart skip a beat momentarily!
