It was a perfect day to lead my Hike Beyond the Hills- #HikeBeyondTheHills hiking crew to hike an arduous 17 miles with 4,100’ total elevation gained to OC’s highest and most prominent summit, Santiago Peak (5,689’) in Trabuco Canyon. This is the Saddleback Mountain in the OC that you see from the distance. This was a challenging, yet beautiful hike. And how lucky we were with cool mild weather and no BUGS!
