The weather was perfect. Warm with a nice breeze. This was one of the harder hikes I’ve done but I love all the scrambling. Most people I talked to said they had really sore arms the next day from all the cables. I didn’t use the cables. I prefer using canyoneering techniques. This was tough on my old knees, but a lot of fun!

    1. I’ve done a lot of canyoneering in Utah, learning how to maneuver slot canyons using handholds and footholds. I also took some climbing classes to improve my scrambling skills. I wore approach shoes for good grip and just worked the rock. I don’t have a lot of upper body strength so I can’t rely on pulling myself up.
