Started at 0900 with a cool breeze. The first half mile has a couple of steps that are worn down from the weather/rain. After you reach the saddle and you start to descend and the cable starts, the steps are nearly gone so you need extra precaution to get down. Other than that, the trail is easy to follow. It's challenging for your upper body strength, but is worth the effort.
It wasn't hot so I only had 2 liters of water.
You definitely need a good pair of gloves.
