Arrived around 4pm. Very little parking–to be expected here at this time. A very step-like hike up with some scramble at the top. My intention was to be up top for sunset and I was. So beautiful! Sunrise with Ken Koshio is an even more amazing treat if you have the time. Went back down in the dark. Definitely need a headlamp as it is uneven. Great start.

A friend’s hiking buddy had a little birthday celebration up top where they served pie. Hence the title.
How was the hike down in the dark?
Definitely need a headlamp. Just had to watch what I was doing…especially since there are several rude people who don’t know a thing about trail etiquette and care even less in the dark!
