Tried hiking Camelback with daughter and 10 yr granddaughter, but we could not find a parking spot. After several attempts to park we gave up and went to Piestewa which has much better parking and facilities. Hike is up, up, and up with minimal flat areas. Take your time and enjoy the views on the way up. Trail is well maintained, busy and suitable for less experienced hikers and kids. Top has some steep inclines with railing in a couple of spots. Awesome and unobstructed views of Phoenix Valley from center of town.
