it was a bright and beautiful morning for hiking piestewa. Parking lot felt rather busy for a Thursday but manageable. Folks on the trail were spread out which made for great timing to hustle to the top. I packed my backpack buddy (Bart) which adds the challenge of extra weight but still made excellent time. Weather was breezy which offered some good conditions with the rising heat. Enjoyed a good break and some photos on the top before trekking back down. The trail felt emptier heading down and I was able to increase my pace. Love the views around the top!
