I've done Piestewa multiple times,, so challenged myself by going the day after I did Picacho Peak. It's a heavily trafficked trail that's out and back. I went early, before 6:30am, and got a parking spot. It's an uphill climb all the way, rocky like Picacho Peak, but no cables. There are a few poles, but I didn't have to use them. Views from the summit are amazing. Wasn't too windy by the time I reached the top. Ran part of the way down and wore my mask ???? because of the increased volume of people on the trail. Be ready to encounter runners, people who've never done this before, families, and some who hike up and down 3 times or more. Take water, be kind. I love this trail. People are usually courteous and go for the community.
