Ever since I first saw photos of the peak I couldn’t help but think of pride rock from The Lion King. I actually brought my Simba stuffed animal to take photo with it at the top hahaha ! It got a few laughs along with positive comments. You gotta have a little fun while you’re hiking too.

Icehouse canyon is such a beautiful trail! The streams, little waterfalls, ruins and cabins along the trail are so scenic. I loved that part of the trail so much I had my parents go check it out the next following weekend. They too loved it, how do you top this trail?

The trail is a little steep and narrow at times and in some parts a bit sketchy. We were lucky enough to see bighorn sheep towards the top of the peak.
