Every year I get off to a quick start early in the year, then warm weather and other activities get in the way! Today, December 21, is “five down, one to go”! (Procrastinator, or just a busy person?)
Mount St. Helena was today. 10 miles north of Calistoga, past a very quiet Napa Valley. The light rain sprinkles, early in the day were concerning, but it quickly got better. I enjoyed the snow in the shady areas. (Oh! I’ve never been able to open my eyes and smile properly in the bright sun!)
The 6th photo is of the geothermal springs, north of Calistoga, that are captured to generate electricity.
Mt Tam is on deck for monday, right before several days of rain. Down to the wire!

I did the same thing when I had to write an essay for school (waiting until the last minute). 😉
Did you barely pass, or get a really good grade? 😉
Writing essays was one of my strengths. I just worked better under pressure. 🙂
