So much fun! Cuyamaca Peak is the second-highest peak in San Diego County at 6,512 ft. elevation.

We began our hike at the Azalea Glen Trailhead and hiked to Azalea Springs and continue to follow the trail to the Lookout Fire Road junction. The Lookout Fire Road took us the remaining 1.5 miles to the peak. Our descend was via the Lookout Fire Road and through the Paso Picacho Campground.
