Cuyamaca peak

As far as views, this is one of the best peaks to soak in views. The only disappointing thing is the no dog allowed on trails. So fire road it is. We got to the trail head around 8 am once we got to the campground I was surprised that there was No one at the booth to collect parking fees. I grabbed the yellow enveloped filled it in left my 10 bucks in and deposit the enveloped. We found a parking place there was one other car and I said to myself mmm maybe they are doing stonewall please be at stonewall. ? nothing against other people but I hike to get away from people if you catch my drift. Anyways….

Fire road Roxy and I started our trek we saw a family of deer. The weather was perfect some clouds here and there and I was just imagining the summit and the views, but sadly for us it got a bit overcast on the way up but still pretty views. I like clouds in the sky so I was hoping to have some clouds here and there at the summit. I contemplated on taking crampons but I neglected from taking them I said to myself doubt there will be alot of snow. I was right there was some but not enough for me to put on crampons. Nowwwwww black ice is a whole other thing. I ate it bad, but no problem shake it off.

The most amazing thing about this hike to me are the giant pine trees, I like nature and pine trees just make it for me. Also I tend to look up just incase our friends the mountain lions are chilling up there justtt in case.  The winds from the day before managed to brake some trees which were on the middle of the road so we had to find a way to keep going. I decided to carry Roxy and put it on the other side then I made the jump. Once at the tower it seems like the snow from up the tower came flying down and destroyed the fence around the tower. I went to were the summit is and there's this giant rock that I decided to climb to be even higher altitude than it was supposed to be. Rebel life over here lol.

The view at cuyamaca is amazing I love it. We ate got some footage and returned back. Now snow started melting so paves road was a bit  hazardous I slipped like 4 times and ate it once. One heck of a day if you ask me. I will return with no dog to do the actual trail.
