Beautiful day with cloudy conditions and relatively cool temperatures. The Run to the Top trail race is no joke. The first 4 miles are a steady grade that is steep but runnable. The Devil’s Backbone section to the peak has amazing views. It gets very steep for the last 2/3 mile and becomes a hike for most regular humans. Nice treat to grab a beer at “the Notch” on the way down.
