This was my 4th time hiking Sitton Peak, but the first with a group… Heritage Hiking Club. We were prepared with our gear as there was a possibility of rain – Yep! It rained. The hike is relatively easy until the last 1/4 mile or so where you relied heavily on your hiking sticks keeping you from sliding down the mountain. Hiking sticks and rain gear were very much needed. Usually there is a gorgeous view at the top, but with today’s weather, it was rainy and cloudy and WINDY! Ate a quick snack and made our way back down. This trail can get pretty busy. Our group was not the only group making their way up there.
