Oh My! What a day for us to bag our second peak on the Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge! Could not have asked for better weather, no wind and fabulous company! We found our hiking friend Sarah at the top…plesant surprise!
It was long 9+ miles with 3,200+ EG recroded. Snowshoed the last mile in and out, rather than post-hole! Trail needs spikes, although we saw several hikers in shoes alone! (One was leaving a trail of blood though! seriously!!)
The weather was remarkably different than our climb last year, on this peak! We were in blizzard conditions last year; whereas, this climb could not have been nicer! Check out the BLUE skies!
