Attempted this as Cactus to Clouds a few weeks ago with a 9 pm start. Sleep deprivation got to us and we elected to take the tram down without summitting.
Today, a gorgeous day, with ample sleep, and from a more manageable trailhead I hit my 6th peak! I’ll still be attempting the other six, but so glad to have the main challenge completed.
I really enjoyed this hike. The trail was quite a challenge, but the joy of making the summit was that much sweeter because of how hard I worked for it.
I’d read that the sign was gone, but there was a sign today and it was buried good & deep in the rocks.
