First thing's first — I can't  believe I actually finished the Six Pack this year!!! A minor mole removal on my lower leg led to 2 months of being told to not hike at all and I really didn't know if I would get this done. Thankfully my hiking partner is the best and we scheduled Sitton for December 22 and we did it! I didn't expect a challenging hike but was very excited to see new terrain. I am so thankful that this challenge has led me to so many new and wonderful places over the years. This hike was beautiful and fun and was quite different from the other hikes I have done in SoCal. The trail was very clearly marked and not challenging with the exception of an incredible amount of erosion down the middle of the trail in many places from the torrential rains we had in November (I presume). And the final 1/3 mile of the hike is especially challenging as it goes mostly straight up to the peak and had a lot of erosion from rain. But the view was wonderful and the weather was wonderful. I have been sick all week and my sinuses were going crazy but the hike was worth the extra effort on a beautiful SoCal December day.
