The weather was perfect. A good portion of the trail is exposed fireroad, mostly gentle grade, with an exception or two. Untreated water is available at few campsites along the route.
The wilderness is very calming, and the meadows look beautiful with flowers. The views from Rose 🌹 Peak are panoramic. I signed the log/note book/binder at the top, and kudos to whoever placed a bouquet of roses as a photo prop.
