Conditions were a bit chilly and breezy but suited the terrain well as the long exposed stretches would be difficult in the heat.
Trail was in good shape and well marked with the one exception being the lack of a sign nearing the return to Sunol headquarters to stay right in order to remain on McCorkle until the fork to Canon View.
Major highlight was the rare sighting of a large wild boar near the peak.
Long day no doubt but worth the journey to complete the challenge with a bang.
