Tried going to Ontario Peak a month ago, but decided to turn around when we saw a mountain lion on trail. This morning we headed back for round 2! We summited and on our way down we stumbled upon the biggest rattlesnake I’ve ever seen. We were 1.5 miles away from the car but I was ready to turn around hahaha. Thankfully a trail angel helped get the snake off trail and into the bushes. Think I may be taking a break from Ice House for awhile!
