Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

On May 25, 2019, I hiked up to Mt. San Antonio  (Mt. Baldy) with 213 FB Hikers.  We took the Register Ridge trail.  This was my first time using Register Ridge trail to summit up to Mt. San Antonio.  I have friends telling me this trail was challenging because it was steep and will encounter a fast elevation gain.

To tell you the truth, Register Ridge wasn't that bad at all.  Because Register Ridge was exposed, much of the snow have melted away.  It was warm.  I loved it.  The view from Register Ridge was magnificent.

It was always by coincidence that 3H Hiking Group held an event to honor Sam Kim's Legacy.  I attended this ceremony to pay tribute to Sam Kim.  After the ceremony, I head back to my car via Ski Hut trail.  There were vastly traces of snow.  I had to wear my microspikes most of the way down.  It got windy and chilly.  But I found the strenghth to pull through and finished strong.
