Hike Log

San Bernardino – Last of the SoCal top 3!

Trailhead:

Angelus Oaks

Type of Hike:

Day hike

Trail Conditions:

Trail in good condition

ROAD:

Road recommended for high clearance only

Bugs:

No Bugs

Snow:

Intermittent snow – not hard to cross

The trail had a thin layer of packed snow on some short stretches, but nothing that would require spikes. It looks like very few people hike this trail. We ran into less than 10 people the whole time. But it was a really nice to time to hike this trail. We started at 5:30AM, back down at 3PM. It was never too hot nor too cold the entire way. Saw 1 deer along the way. My buddy and I hiked San Gorgonio, then San Jacinto a few weeks back, and this one felt a bit easier than those two.
