This hike was one of the highlights of the challenge for me so far. The trail was well-maintained and gradual for the most part and not as crowded as some of the other peaks that we hiked earlier. It was warm but there was a nice breeze for most of the day. We also met some really friendly hikers throughout the day. The views from the summit were spectacular, although there was very little shade.

Other than getting stung on the abdomen by some critter that got under my shirt at the Limber Pine campground, it was a pretty perfect day.
