Started the hike with a group of about 15 people. Start time was 3am and summit was approximately 10:30am. We took a few breaks on the way up. The day was perfect with no wind. First two miles of the trail were rough, rocky and incline, last two miles of the hike were also tough. Permit was required however there was no ranger checking. Ran into a few campers.
Mon the way down, about 5 miles before completion, one of our hikers had an accident due to loose rocks and was airlifted out. She healed within a few weeks.
got down the from San Gorgonio by 3:30-4pm.
it was an amazing experience!
