My favorite hike of the summer season. Started at 430a, reviews are accurate saying the beginning at the end are the hardest part of the trail. Weather was chilly but made for a successful day and low water consumption. Middle section is long but not too steep which helps your legs recover. The 3 camps along the way serve as great landmarks. Filtered a 1/2 liter at Halfway Camp. Saw two sets of glowing deer eyes in the dark at the beginning. Lower section was beautiful and lush with green growth. 10hrs including stoppage time.
