Got a hotel in the area the night before so we could get an early start. By 6:30 we were on the trail (it was a busy morning at the parking lot)! Took the ascent at a steady pace. Made it to the top for lunch. On the way down did some sightseeing of the significant locations last time we were on the hike. We did this hike in 2014 and got engaged so it was a fun revisiting of the hike. Beautiful weather.
