June 28th John Michael Patero and me we try to summit 9 of the San Gorgonio Peaks. We started at Vivian Creek to summit San Gorgonio everything was going according to the plan, but around 6,500 ft Patero start with the Altitude Sickness symptoms and his performance decreased dramatically. Honestly he pushed really hard to summit, when we were planning what we going to do next I propose him to cancel the hike and we can go back home. He is really stubborn and we restart the hike again, we did Jepson Peak really easy its just a few yards out o the trail going to Dollar Saddle and once there we didnt came back to trail until we did the whole traverse thru the ridge, it was a super add to the challenge, we had to navigate thru boulders and cluiffs and that also guve us spectacular views of the San Gorgonio are from a different perspective, when we finally summit Charlton Peak we went straight thru the ridge to Dollar Saddle, we found some “signs” to guide us to the right path, whoever did this for us i honestly Thank you. To mark the trail this person put some rocks over other rocks in a way that you will be able to see the “trail”, is hard to find this “signs” because the whole area is full of rocks, but if you pay attention you find out the the difference between natural position of the rocks or intentionally arrange it (see pics) here was whe John symptoms came back again and this time he did the right decision to cancel the rest of the hike and the end the mountains will be there a little longer. It will be later another chance to finish this hike.
