6/3/2022:

I hiked up to San Jacinto Peak via Marion Mountain trailhead.  I hiked with my niece Helen, Tammy and my ex-girlfriend Ha Tien that day.  We started early in the morning thinking that it would be hot.  The trails were well-maintained.  There were blooming flowers.  The creek that ran through the trails had strong current.

It was Tammy's first time hiking to San Jacinto Peak.  She experienced mild AMS.  We had to take alot of breaks for her.  She was a tough cookie.  We eventually make it to the San Jacinto Peak.  The view was so breathtaking.

We didn't stay that long on the Peak.  Coming down, Tammy did much better.  We picked up our pace and got down to our cars faster than going up.
