First time doing San Jacinto without using the tram.  I like the Marion Mountain Trail much better.    Just a great hike with big trees and rocks and great views.  Lots of water available right on the trail. It is steep but short which I would prefer over longer trails.   Had the peak to myself today.  What a difference from the weekend tram days.  Number 15/18
