I'm not gonna sugar coat it; this trail was difficult for me. I think a combination of the heightened elevation, mild lack of sleep, and the fact that I'm 6 1/2 months pregnant all played a part. There were many times I wanted to stop but I knew I wouldn't. I have made this goal and I intend on seeing it to completion. A little about the trail: it's not a steep as I was expecting. It flattened out at many points which was very nice. The majority of the trail is well laid out so I didn't have to look at my AllTrails map too much. However, a lot of the signage for how much mileage there is in inaccurate. The sign at the beginning said 5.2 miles to the top and it took us over 6 miles to reach the peak. Anyway, there were other hikers here and there but not crowded at all. Weather was perfect. Because my team and I film along the way, and had to take many rest breaks this time, it took us over 12 hours to complete this which means we did get caught by the dark for the last 2 miles but thankfully we were prepared with lights and made it out. Overall, I'm super proud we finished and I'm glad this one is behind me.

One more peak to go!
