Started the hike at 8am at the Cadillac trailhead on Trabucco Canyon Road. Took the trail up to Old Camp/Joplin trail and up to Santiago truck trail to the peak. This was a tough hike but it was beautiful. Joplin had tons of beautiful green trees which provided a lot of shade throughout the hike. Views at the top are amazing. Poles recommended. Finished the hike at 6 PM. This ended up being a 20 mile hike because we had to park about 2 miles from the trail head near O’Neill Park. Normally we would have parked on the dirt road right outside of the trail head.
