Started this hike around 8 AM at the Cadillac Trail head on Trabucco Canyon Road. We had to park about 2 miles away from the trail head because the road leading in was closed on this day. We hiked up Cadillac to Joplin trail to old camp. And then up to Santiago truck trail to the peak. We used poles on which helped tremendously on the hike up and down. Gorgeous views at the top. We really enjoyed the Joplin trail because of all the beautiful green trees and shaded areas. Finished the hike about 6 PM. It ended up being 20 miles because of where we parked.
