This is off-road trail, with lots of vehicles and motorbikes along the trail.  Very dusty and no shade, bring a face covering so you aren't sucking dust the whole time.  We went a bit off-trail into the woods and onto a real trail for a bit which was nice – it shaved a bit off of the total mileage, so we logged about 8.8 miles RT.  Saw a small snake on a rock, and a lot of lizards and birds.  Lots of gnats and bugs around.  Couldn’t find a sign at the peak which was annoying!  Saw someone get rescued by helicopter which was interesting.  Otherwise, boring and would not hike again.
