Lived in Orange County my whole life and never ventured up Saddleback Mountain. It didn't disappoint. Challenging, for sure, but a great day. Took us nearly 9 hours — slow up and slow down. A few slips and a couple of minor falls but perfect weather and a great trail. A few snow patches at the top!
