Did Santiago Peak from Maple Springs on April 18th, first hike of this year's Six Pack! The hike starts with some offroading, which is an experience for those who are not used to driving their car on roads like this (me!). Got a later start on this hike and it was sunny, windy, and very dusty! When we finished we were absolutely caked in dirt from walking on the road and in the wind.

It's a relatively moderate hike with the exception of the total distance (9.6 for me), and you do have to be aware of approaching vehicles at all time. We were impressed by the views, as this is a vantage points of other peaks we aren't accustomed to!

Overall a solid hike, looking forward to summiting Santiago Peak via another trailhead in the future. This was #13 on my 52 hike challenge.
