drove through the visitor center at 6:45. Parked at Main Divide cutoff and hit the trail a little after 7. We were in the shade for a good portion of the hike up. Wasn't too hot and not much traffic. Heading back down we were passed by tons of offroad vehicles heading up, so it got kinda dusty. Defintely take a high clearance vehicle and drive past the visitor center up to Main Divide Road and start there. Other wise, add another 8-9 miles to the hike, and some of the vehicles heading up are hauling ass so be careful!
