Such a gorgeous strenuous hike! A fellow challenger and I camped overnight at Bootjack Campgrounds in order to get an early start on this hike. A little after sunrise we headed towards Pantoll Campgrounds and hiked the Steep Ravine trail down to Stinson Beach. We came back up on the Matt Davis Trail and switched over to the Stage Coach Trail. The weather was great! Warm with a cool breeze, enough to be comfortable drenched in sweat. The sun was out and the clouds were parted. I purchased trekking poles for this hike but found that I did not need them after all. This hike took us a little over 9 hours. There were way too many great photos to be taken and fallen trees to climb (a habit hard to kill). We got back right after sunset. Watching the Sunset on our descent was magical. I took 3 Liters of water that I finished after we made it back to the parking lot. For sure one of the more breathtaking hikes of this challenge.
