We took Register Ridge up to Mt. Harwood then over and up Devil's Backbone to the peak. This is my first time to Baldy and I'm told I took the hardest trail up. 🙂 ~2750 ft climb in 1.75mi. I like a challenge. Saw 5 big horn sheep where Harwood trail meets Devil's Backbone, including babies. Weather has been perfect on all my hikes this summer and today was no exception.
Was supposed to hike San Gorgonio today, but had to make the switch as trails were closed due to the fires. 🙁
