Sitton has been either my first or the last hike for my six pack. The trail parking is the most accessible, i believe, in all of them from where I live.

The weather forecasted to be cloudy, that made the hike a little easier. However, it didn’t mention the sparse shower? It wasn’t bad, more drizzle but something that one might consider, if you need to wear the waterproof jacket on or not. No biggie. Trail was moderately  busy that also added to a great hike. Took our obligatory photos at the peak, had lunch and started heading back and anyone familiar to the trail, the steep terrain was not fun, at least for me?

This was also a birthday hike for my dear friend and hiking buddy, Khristine Matias that also joined me in the legacy roster this year.

Of course, after the hike, the stop to the candy store was quite necessary because sometimes they have that decadent pies available. We also learned, unfortunately, that they are closing, well the current management, and with what we gathered someone will take over the store but not entirely sure what they will have.
